Chief Financial Officer & Deputy Managing Director
Mr. Christos Stathopoulos is a holder of an MBA – major in Finance of the City University Business School of London (IAN SKIMMING AWARD) and holder of a BA honours degree in Economics from the Thames Polytechnic, School of Economics, London (FULL MANDATORY AWARD BY COUNTY OF AVON). He has attended various seminars: IFRS, BW Reporting (SAP), Valuations, SPIN Effective sales program, Management for results, Derivatives, Underwriting, Marketing - Credit - Foreign Exchange (participated in several professional training programs in accounting, economics, sales and finance and has also lectured in several Greek Academic Institutions. He is a full member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and holder of a 1st class licence in Accounting and Tax Advising issues.
He began his professional career in 1983 initially in the insurance sector as an underwriter and later on in the banking sector employed by several institutions such as National Bank of Greece, Egnatia Bank, NatWest, Bank of Athens and EFG Eurobank Group. He began his career as a cashier and gradually he was promoted to Regional Manager.
He decided to move out from the banking sector and into the industrial sector to «Redestos» – Efthymiadis Agrotechnology in 2001 as a Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of the Group, position he held until 2010. He was responsible for the strategic planning and in charge of the entire financial and IT divisions of the Group, member of the Board of Directors of several of these companies and also personally in charge of the strategic alliance with Japanese Multinational "Mitsui and Co. Ltd".
He joined Dodoni S.A. in the beginning of 2011 (16.1.2011) as a Financial Director and within 6 months he was nominated by the Board of Directors as Deputy Managing Director with full authority rights and official representation of Dodoni S.A. to Third Parties. He is responsible for the Financial, Commercial, Milk Zone, Production, IT, Personnel and the Public Relations of the Company.
